A Day at the Tea Garden

The sun rose slowly over the green hills. Little Maya woke up early to help her family pick tea leaves.

She carried a small basket, just her size, and picked the two top leaves from each plant, just like her grandmother taught her.

By afternoon, Maya's basket was full. She sat under a big tree, sipped warm tea with her family, and watched the clouds roll over the hills.
